I am most interested in capturing a sense of place. I’m drawn to both the vibrancy of organic subjects (flowers, plants, and people) as well as the gritty majesty of an urban scene or the opulent decay of abandoned buildings. The camera gives me the chance to slow down and be present to a given place with the hope of sharing that moment with others. I frame images alongside my interest in spirituality and anthropology. Although I am from Melbourne, Australia and I have lived in London, UK, I make my home in downtown Lexington. After thirteen years of living here I am just beginning to see things with eyes soft enough to take in what it means to properly inhabit a place.
